Candace Moix is a computer scientist and interdisciplinary analyst. She formerly worked for Krebs Stamos Group, as a Digital Network Exploitation Analyst for the National Security Agency, and researched extremism at the Institute for Strategic Dialogue and the International Centre for the Study of Radicalisation.

Candace most recently worked as a Senior Threat Analyst on Recorded Future’s Strategic Intelligence team and continues to teach graduate students for the University of Maryland’s National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism. She has served as the Director of CyberSaftey for the Cybersecurity Nonprofit and mentors through GirlSecurity.

She holds a BS in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh, an MA in Terrorism, Security, and Society from Kings' College London's War Studies Department, and an MS in Computer Science from the University of Tulsa's CyberCorps program - an NSA Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Operations. Candace is passionate about working at the intersection of technology and security, specifically on issues related to national security, cybersecurity, and trust and safety.
