evan dIPETRILLO
Evan is a data scientist passionate about artificial intelligence and machine learning in defense and national security. Before TechCongress, he worked on the headquarters staff of U.S. European Command in Stuttgart, Germany, where he focused on using data and interagency partnerships to combat transnational organized crime. Prior to that, he served as a submarine officer in the United States Navy, completing multiple Pacific deployments and participating in Operation Tomodachi, the humanitarian relief effort following the 2011 Japanese earthquake and tsunami.
Evan holds undergraduate degrees in Economics and Political Science from the University of Rhode Island and graduate degrees in Economics from Bocconi University in Milan and Computer Science from New York University. He has also completed Joint Professional Military Education programs through the Naval War College and the Joint Forces Staff College.
