Where They're Serving: Placements for our January 2024 Congressional Innovation Fellows

It is our honor to announce that our January 2024 Congressional Fellows have successfully completed the TechCongress orientation and placement process. After weeks of learning the ins and outs of Congress, fellows networked and built connections with some of the most influential members of the Hill. Our fellows have matched with various offices across Congress, where they will help shape tech policy as we know it.

Meet our January 2024 Fellows:

  • Reggie Darby will be working with the office of Senator Bill Cassidy (R-LA) on matters regarding technology, veteran affairs, and healthcare cybersecurity & privacy.

  • Jhonatan Ewunetie will be serving the House Committee on Appropriations and Sub-Commitee on Transportation, Housing & Urban Development.

  • Jason Liang will be working with Representative Don Beyer (D-VA-08). Within Beyer’s office, Jason will focus on artificial intelligence across various contexts.

  • Candace Moix will be joining the office of Senator Peter Welch (D-VT) to support commerce and judiciary committee tech work.

  • Ethan Moscot has finalized his placement with the office of Representative Andrew Garbarino (R-NY-02). There, Ethan will work to support efforts in cybersecurity.

  • Brandon Read will be working in the office of Senator Alex Padilla (D-CA), and will focus on responsible innovation and shared prosperity.

  • Alex Moix will be joining forces with Senator Mark Robert Warner (D-VA). Alex will focus on the areas of cybersecurity, technology, and telecommunications.

  • Adina Wollner will be working in the office of Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV). Adina will focus on cybersecurity issues across national security, workforce and healthcare portfolios, and AI & emerging technologies.

  • Lars Schönander has joined the U.S. Senate Committee on Small Business. During his time with the committee, Lars will work on federal technical procurement, SBIR, and oversight of SBA & small business contracting.

  • Evan DiPetrillo has joined the office of Senator Todd Young (R-IN) and will be focused on matters pertaining to artificial intelligence and national security.

  • Dean Alderucci will work with the House Committee on Science, Space, and Technology. Dean has specialized in AI systems, and will continue to focus on matters of AI in his new position.

  • Sarah Harris has officially joined the office of Senator Ben Ray Lujan (D-NM). There, Harris will focus on matters of artificial intelligence, connectivity, data privacy, digital services, and modernization.

  • Tie Hardy has joined the office of Representative Miki Sherrill (D-NJ-11). In this position, Tie will focus on matters of AI, security, accessibility, & more!
